Fall 2018 Obedience Classes

House Manners Class

The House Manners Class will focus on teaching your dog appropriate manners around the house. Reward-based training will be used to teach leave-it, waiting at doors or gates, and how to greet family members and guests. The class is for dogs 5 months and older.

Mondays 6:30-7:30 pm
Sept 10th, 24th and Oct 1st (No class 9/17)
Cost is $62.00

Excellent Recall Class

The Excellent Recall Class will focus on teaching your dog to come to you immediately when you call. Reward-based training and games will be used to help your dog learn to leave distractions and come to you. The class is for dogs 5 months and older.

Thursdays 6:30-7:30 pm
Sept 6th, 13th and 20th
Cost is $62.00

Intermediate Manners Obedience Class

The Intermediate Manners Obedience Class is for dogs that have completed the Basic Manners Obedience Class or an equivalent class. Reward-based training will be used to teach leave-it and stay, and will continue to work on the recall (coming when called) and loose leash walking.

Tuesdays 6:30-7:30 pm
Sept 4th, 11th, 25th; Oct 2nd, 9th, 16th (No class 9/18)
Cost is $124.00

Basic Manners Obedience Class

The Basic Manners Obedience Class is for dogs 5 months and older. Reward-based training will be used to teach attention, targeting, sit, down, come and loose leash walking. Please DO NOT bring your dog to the first class.

Wednesdays 6:30-7:30 pm
Sept 5th, 12th, 26th; Oct 3rd, 10th, 17th (No class 9/19)
Cost is $124.00

If you are interested in signing up for any class, please contact Stoney Creek Pet Lodge and Rehab Center at (336) 603-6930. Once you have registered, you will receive a class registration package.

Please note: All dogs registering for the class must be up-to-date on their Rabies, Distemper, Parvovirus, and Bordetella vaccinations, and proof of vaccination or titer results is required with registration.
